Some other tips

  • If you wear glasses, we recommend you checking with your optometrist to obtain a duplicate set of frames with no glasses
  • Since we perform basic retouching, don't worry about your complexion
  • We recommend putting your accessories in a zip lock bag and attach to the hanger of your matching outfit
  • Avoid tanning as over doing it will cause your skin to look orange and unattractive.
  • And most important of all - HAVE FUN!

FAQs About Your Senior Portrait Session

What time should I arrive for my portrait session?
Arrive 10 minutes early. You’ll be more relaxed, and your portrait session can be completed on schedule. You don’t want to waste camera time by getting ready. This will allow more time for a variety of poses and backgrounds.
Can I bring a friend with me to watch?
Of course. If it will help you feel more relaxed, bring a friend or parent along. You can even have a couple of shots with your boyfriend/girlfriend, family member, or best friend for no extra charge.
What if my parents and I like different poses?
No problem! We start out with the parent-pleasing shots and then quickly move into more casual shots that you will like. SO awesome senior portraits that both of you will like.
What will my session be like and what can I expect?
In a word…FUN! You might be a little nervous at first but that will quickly change and you soon will be actually enjoying your portrait session. Being comfortable is very important to achieve natural facial expressions.
What if I have minor skin problems?
Don’t worry! We perform basic retouching free of charge that eliminates blemishes and soften hard lines. If you have a visible scar, be sure to let us know whether you want to have it retouched or softened.
What if I want to have braces removed in the photos?
Here is a TIP – You have two options here. You can either have us perform digital editing for an additional charge or some dentists are willing to remove your braces for the portrait session if you take the time to schedule the procedure.
